Fantastic experience: Honestly, we had such a good experience with this branch of Sherry Fitz. We bought a house through Con and sold our own house through Olivia. Muriel and Linda helped us as well in the office. They were all great to deal with and obviously knowledgeable. Moving house was a very stressful time for us, with lots going on. The only part that was not stressful was the Sherry Fitz part. Also, and maybe most importantly, we succeeded in getting the price we wanted for our house, and succeeded in buying the house we really, really wanted. I’m not sure any of this would have happened without the excellence of service from Sherry Fitz. Expertise aside, it was just a very pleasant experience overall. We hope to get to meet Con, Olivia, Linda & Muriel outside of the buying/selling process and get to know them better as friends in general. That probably says it all really, in terms of the experience we had.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience dealing with Con and Linda. I had viewed a few properties over the past 6-12 months with Con and his approach every time was very honest. There was no false promises or dodgy sales techniques. Just an honest approach to the property with an excellent knowledge of other properties in the vicinity, the people living in the area and recent market trends. Throughout the bidding process, Con was very honest and upfront about everything I felt I knew where I stood at every stage. When it came to the closing of the sale he was always there when needed also. Con and Linda were always there if I needed access to the property for reports, etc and most importantly were always a pleasure to deal with. Too many times I ended up just getting stuck having a chat with everyone because of their friendly nature. As a purchaser, couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: It’s taken me a while to write this review as I wanted to really get it right in order to do justice to the service my husband and I received from Sherry Fitz. I probably won’t manage that sadly! From start to finish Sherry Fitz in West Cork have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I’ve been continuously impressed by their level of professionalism. They deliver this professionalism in a very personable way, which has always put me at ease. We have no plans to ever sell a house again as, thanks to them we managed to sell ours and move into our dream home. Despite this, if I was ever to sell again, I wouldn’t even consider another company. In creating our listing, SF sent out a photographer who mapped out the entire property with top of the range equipment that translated so well to the online listing. Olivia was great for advice on valuations, managing viewings and was always very responsive to our calls and emails. The house was presented so well. When it came to buying I have to single out Con O’Neill for his assistance. He was always so contactable, informative and trustworthy. He made an otherwise stressful bidding situation seem almost pleasant! There’s so much more that I could say but I’ll leave it there. All in all, the west Cork Sherry Fitz have left me really impressed.

Buying a property can be confusing for anyone, but as an ex-pat from from the states, I required additional help. They gave it, with compassion, professionalism and excellence. Con and Linda kept me informed and updated throughout the process, with more attention to my needs than I could have expected. This team went above and beyond, assisting me to view properties until I found the perfect one. They even helped me find a rental nearby my new house so that I can oversee the refurbishments of my dream home while the new design is being completed that I desire. I highly recommend them for any real-estate needs. They are willing to go that extra mile, to serve their community, and clients at no cost.

Negative experience: WARNING: It cost us SIX FIGURES because the O'Neills prey. Lies, silence, inaction! Unethical, incompetent, this outfit is the worst we've seen in our decades in the field. Shameless misrepresentation of a home lured us to their trap followed by six long months of procrastination ending with their "My way or the highway" ultimatum threw us off the carousel.

In a pandemic Ray found a buyer and handled the sale of our restaurant through out, communications were first class with weekly call updates as we had emigrated to Finland, Con and the office team forwarded mails and handled the day to day issues with great professionalism.
