Negative experience: Unfortunately the agents are picking sides and is not fair when it comes to biding. The agent asked for proof of funds and didn’t take it into consideration, when asked for final offer we didn’t want to overpay on the property.. so we made reasonable offer and that’s how we lost auction. Nobody ever came back to us asking do we want to bid more. I feel like we were cheated as we provided all the documents on time.. the other party was providing it later as they were apparently abroad.

I met Hillary Hamill while viewing another property initially and then at the property which I proceeded to purchase. Overall I found Hillary quite easy going, down to earth, and friendly and at the same time keeping her professional standards at the highest level. I felt throughout the experience that Hillary was able to negotiate the sale very well and in my view made every effort to satisfy the vendors wishes. Positive experience: We had a very positive experience with SF Lewis Hamill. Our sale was conducted remotely, ie we weren’t living in the house/nearby. This brought its own challenges but Breda offered great advice re local help for small upgrades/clearance etc. The team always kept us in the loop re viewings, offers etc and were very helpful in ensuring the property was always presented at its best for viewings. Breda was positive from outset with asking price, and we were very happy with final sale. From sale agreed to contracts closed took a pretty efficient 9 weeks or so. Would recommend SF Lewis Hamill for a professional experience, they understand their market well.
