After finding a property they had listed, James quickly arranged a viewing and helped facilitate putting in an offer the very next day. The offer was recommended to the seller, and now after a few months I own the home! Communication was excellent, with prompt responses to emails. I dealt with Mary frequently, and she was instrumental in keeping everything moving smoothly. Dealing with REA Donohoe Spring was by far the easiest part of the entire home-buying process. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Fell in love with a property and was making all arrangements to purchase it, had been in contact with the agency for months, only to find out from the owner of a neighbouring property that the tap water is unsafe to drink (which was never mentioned either in the ad or by the staff member I was in touch with all this time - over 12 emails exchanged in 3 months) and the bank won't lend against it as it's not standard construction (absolutely no mortgage for this kind of property in Ireland as it's a log cabin, although they claim to have sold to mortgage buyers before) : those are 2 very important points that should be noted in the ad to save potential buyers' time and prevent disappointment. They would not help obtain past utility bills for me to gauge the monthly costs of electric/heating for the house, and could not tell me when the wood was treated last. Their reply to my review clearly shows that they did not see me as a worthwhile client as they already had an offer on the house, which to this day is still for sale. These things are part of the job, and if you're unwilling to help sell a property by providing this kind of basic information, you should not be in the real estate business. Absolutely don't recommend this agency.
