Although we didn't buy from him at the time, we remembered his approach and when it came time to sell our property he was our first choice and he certainly didn't let us down. Fantastic experience: We have just now completed the sale of our home in Ardcroney and though it was an at times stressful experience through no fault of Micheal, his unparalleled expertise, knowledge and control helped guide us through uncharted territory and over the finish line. When you set out on your journey of buying or selling your next home and your wondering to yourself " sher why do I need an auctioneer, anyone can put an ad in the paper and show people around your house".... slap yourself in the face, take a moment to chat to yourself and come back to reality!! Viewings and ads in the paper probably account for about 10% of what it actually takes to sell a house. What you're paying for is the stuff you don't see like the knowledge of how to navigate though the legal process and how to deal with the sometimes excruciatingly slow pace that the legal side moves at times. On one particular occasion when I was about to completely and utterly lose my mind in relation to one of those above delays, Micheal pulls out a saying that will probably stay with me to my grave!.. " when your hand is in the dogs mouth, all you can do is rub its head".... With Micheal Gilmartin and his assured and accomplished colleague Marie, THAT'S what your paying for folks, the unseen graft and nous that helps you through those tricky situations.
