Negative experience: *Reply to business after my original review* “Provided serveral updates” I only got an update when I asked for one even though in my very first email after viewing I asked to be kept up to date in bids, so wouldn’t really class that as being given several updates, didn’t get updates like I had asked to be anyway. I also said in this email that I will “definitely” be putting in a bid and told yee that I will be away and won’t be able to check email much so it’s not as if I didn’t lay it out how the following week was going to be it’s there in plain writing. And yes you did accommodate me with viewings and your agent their was very good so that’s why I can justify giving you 1 star but the fact you even just asked me to change my rating shows you care much more about how you are viewed online and less about your clients we are talking about my future here where I would’ve raised kids, lived rest of my life etc. all thrown away because you couldn’t pick up phone to someone who clearly stated they would put bid on house and clearly stated they wouldn’t be on phone much that following week, not to mention I expressed how disappointed I was in email then and all I got was a “if anything changes we will let you know” and then my following email got no reply no apologies nothing even though I said I would’ve bid higher, but sure look what’s my future home when there’s clearly much more important things at stake like google reviews for your company. And if any of what I just said is untrue I have all the receipts in my email and will happily post them if you like no problem. I am still actively looking and by no means even if the house is perfect will I go near a house on the market by your company first of all for the horrible experience I had with this last week but then for being asked to change my review as if nothing happened, horrible experience will look back on that house for a long time thinking “what if” thanks for that. Not to mention it’s an area very close to my heart with not very good options on market popping up often but I know that’s not as important as 5 stars on google so sorry if I sound very selfish here. *Original Review* Been to a few viewings with these and never any problem, even one of them I was coming from late and they told me they’d wait for me and all to come view it, but recently a house came up that I was highly interested in and told them how much I liked it but I was going away the following week so asked them to just keep me posted and I’ll definitely put in a bid, following this they only gave me updates when I emailed them. One of the last times I asked them for an update they replied to me saying they are wrapping up the bidding this week, by the time I seen it and replied it was wrapped up didn’t even have the courtesy to give me a quick call to see if I wanted to put in a final bid etc after me stressing how highly interested I was, long story short house went for less than I was willing to pay and I’ve been approved for almost 9 months can’t find right place and felt this was really it, had made future ideas in my head with what I was going to do and all. Doesn’t seem like they have a bad reputation and they auctioneer at the viewings I went to was sound but whoever was dealing with me over email just ruined a dream house for me after 9 months searching, maybe they knew the person that had the final bid and didn’t want him getting outbid I’m not really sure why but doesn’t make sense to me anyway and left very sour taste in mouth with them

Emmet was incredibly efficient, friendly, always on hand to answer queries and handled everything with such ease and professionalism.
