Negative experience: Horrible Site, always just shows viewing capacity reached, even if we had applied just after the advert posting, there's no chance that applying so prior can leave no availability for viewing slots. Applied almost 12 properties and the resposne is the same. I am really upset trying here, wanted a place to live.

Negative experience: Once you got the contract they don't care anymore... More than 8 months waiting them to come and pick up stuff from the old tenants.. also my washing machine got broken and I am still waiting 2 weeks for them to contact me back... Horrible experience with the Cork Branch.

Fantastic experience: Renting already with the branch in Maynooth - Co. Kildare I've been always very satisfied with Sherry Fitzgerald Group. After 2 months looking for a house and no answer in Cork applying for many houses with different agents, but no answer and loads of rudeness, Denise from Sherry Fitzgerald was lovely, friendly and very helpful. So far the best experience in Ireland ( Maynooth and Cork ). I recommend 100%.

Positive experience: I recently moved to Ireland with family. I was lucky enough to get a property within a week. Having done many viewings through different agencies I can say that overall service is very good. Viewing of the property was organised well without any delay. It wasn't an open viewing so everyone had enough time to view the property and chat to the Denise about any details. Signing the contract and all paper work went smoothly and I got keys on the agreed day. Moving in was not that smooth as I smelled gas in kitchen and the contractor said that it will take 3-4 weeks to fix as everything was closing for Christmas and any work could star in Jan only. Luckily for us John worked with all parties and we were provided a temp accommodation in Cork for a month.I really appreciate the prompt responses every time that I needed to contact the agency. I've been dealing with Billie for some other minor glitches and she has always been very helpful and quickly responded to all my queries or requests. I would highly recommend this agency.

It always seems as though they genuinely care and want to help if you have any issues with your rental which is greatly appreciated. Viewing the apartment and getting the lease set up was easy - it would be nice though if a city centre location was opened to make it easier to sign the contracts and collect keys rather than having to travel out to the business park by the airport

Moving out can be a hassle as I know from previous houses, but the team made it so easy and were very accomodating. We had no trouble with our deposit or anything else. Friendly, helpful support is always available (Billie usually replies to my emails in less than a minute or two. Bravo!) and they have been very dependable, coming to tenants' aid quickly (for boiler and washing machine services) when they need it. I feel assured that the house and residents are well looked after while I'm abroad and can't be there to manage things personally.

Denise was the nicest and most helpful agent I have ever met and it was just us viewing the house rather than a big bunch of people at the same time. After we got the house, all the paperwork process was very efficient, easy and quick (moved in a week after the viewing) and Billie in administration was very professional and pleasure to deal with. Negative experience: No one from Sherry FitzGerald showed up for the open viewing leaving a number of people standing around. When I phoned later in the day to find out the reason, I was advised that a text message cancelling the appointment had been sent to everyone and by the way... an offer had been excepted for the rental!! i.e. Job done... everyone else can go love themselves! Sherry FitzGerald Lettings Cork are an embarrassment to their profession and I recommend everyone to stay well clear! There's plenty of posts on here confirming how poor they are to deal with and on this experience I understand why!

Negative experience: Do everything they can to make sure you don't get your deposit promptly and within the time they state regardless of how well you leave their properties. Regular out of office auto replies, barely anyone in the office ever.

Negative experience: Living in a SF property without heat for a month. Various sob stories of mis communications and waiting for parts. How they can let someone move in to a property without heat in February and not care.

Negative experience: Absolutely rubbish . No respect to the tenants . Gave me a appointment time . Came late. Then said no key with her. Got an appointment 5 days later again . When I arrived , they told me appointment cancelled . Left a message , never received . Pathetic people . They are taking the chance of the housing crisis. Give some respect . What a disgrace .

Positive experience: This is a private office.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, rude agents, they made an appointment and then forgot the key, then they rearranged the appointment to the next day at 11 am but the agent didn't arrive until 11:27, he didnt even apologize. We tried calling the company while he wasn't arriving but they just hung up on us as soon as we asked them about the agents.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional company with poor business ethics. Very bad manners, amateurish behaviour. Unprofessionalism at its finest.

Negative experience: Absolutely a nightmare to deal with FitzGerald lettings in Cork. I was trying to move into one of the properties in Ballincollig from Limerick on the 27/05/13 as agreed on the application form and deposit has been paid in full. On the half way driving to Ballincollig, I got a phone call from the agent, saying the house was not insured yet so I couldn't move in on the agreed date. I'm still staying in the hotel to wait for the house to be insured. How much longer should I wait!!!!!!!!!
