Kudos to Richie, one of the employees who has been taking care of our garden and doing maintenance work as well since we moved in. We are very happy with his skills and work he does for us. Negative experience: 3 unreturned phone calls and an unanswered email. I don't know if these people even want to sell properties.

Negative experience: Dealt with Dennehys. difficult to deal with, totally wrong on information given and not very transparent. I wouldnt reccomend dealing with them if you can avoid it. (which can be hard to do as its a small local area).

Fantastic experience: Dennehy estate agents are at the top of their game. Their market knowledge, insights, problem solving and judgement are consistently second to none. They understand the brief 110% and deliver high quality results very efficiently. They are simply super at what they do and a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending them as a five star provider. Actually, I would give them a 7 if it existed.

Fantastic experience: Dennehy Auctioneers have always provided  me with an excellent and professional service. As a customer of Dennehy Auctioneers over the last 7 years nothing was ever too much trouble and always delivered in a clear and transparent manner. They are a 5 star service.

Negative experience: We sadly had a terrible experience with Dennehy Auctioneers. We were looking for a house to rent. After getting the initial confirmation for the date of the viewing via e-mail it was nearly impossible to receive a certain time. After chasing Dennehey with several phone calls and e-mails we finally received the time for the viewing on the day of the viewing! After the viewing we were asked to send several documents such as working contracts etc. as well as the tenant application form (which we have already sent before the viewing!). Instead of telling us beforehand what exactly was needed they came back to us a view days later with the landlord´s request for several more documents. From an experienced rental agency I would expect they know the documents of proof that are needed for renting a house. After we sent everything we finally received the information that we could rent the house and that we should send the deposit and one month´s rent. There was no contract so far and also the starting date of the agreement wasn´t clear. We assumed this would be fixed in the process as we had a written confirmation via e-mail that we can rent the house so we transferred the deposit and one month´s rent. After we asked whether it´s possible to move in four days later as the landlord wanted to (there was no confirmed start date until then!) we received the information that they decided against us without any reason. The whole process from the viewing until the initial yes and transferring the deposit + one month´s rent to the landlord changing their mind cost us time and money as well as other alternatives. I hope other potential tenants will have more luck with Dennehey or choose another agency straight away.

Negative experience: Very poor professional conduct. We Contacted dennehy 3 times before we got a response to arrange a viewing to which the agent arrived late. We expressed intent to make an offer at this viewing and made written contact with the agent the next working day but received no response. We learned that the house went sale agreed the next day. We were met with a curt and unprofessional response when we asked why we were not responded to. A further call to the manager again was not responded to. I cannot understand why they would respond to buyers to get the best price for their seller. Very poor quality photos on advertised listings and no floor plans included either.

Negative experience: Unfortunately we had a bad experience with Dennehy Auctioneers. We wished to purchase a particular property and contacted Dennehy as soon as it went on the market. Our first query submitted via daft was not responded to at all. On our second contact attempt, we were advised they would be in touch to let us know the time of the next viewing. Unfortunately, we were not contacted again. We made contact a third time and finally secured a viewing. The estate agent arrived late to the viewing and we had to contact the office to confirm someone was indeed coming. After seeing the property, we expressed our interest and intent to make an offer to the agent. As it was a Friday afternoon and there was only one offer on the property, she advised us to take the weekend to consider our offer and to contact her on Monday. I contacted Dennehy’s the following day (Saturday) but the office was closed. On the Monday I contacted the estate agent in writing, confirmed our wish to make an offer. I also asked if it would be possible to see the property again to take some measurements as there was no floor plan included. I received no response. The following day, the  agent phoned me to say the property was sale agreed on the existing offer. I expressed my disappointment and asked why we were not contacted so that we could have made a higher offer and why my message was not responded to. The agent said we had “all weekend to make an offer” and it “wasn’t the estate agents job to extract an offer”. We were told that the seller did not want a second viewing, which is fair enough, but I do not understand why the agent didn’t respond at all to give us the opportunity to counter offer, which we would have done immediately had she engaged with us. There was absolutely no delay on our part. I phoned the office to speak to the manager and unsurprisingly received no call back. I am honestly astonished at the lack of professional courtesy in our dealings with Dennehy. I cannot fathom why they would not respond to our genuine interest in a property so that they could receive the best possible price for their client. I would also strongly advise that they invest in a professional photographer when advertising their properties.

Negative experience: No proper response when it comes to new enquiry to purchase, will collect all the details but never contact back

Fantastic experience: We have bought and sold two houses with Niamh and Roy Dennehy in the past three years (Carrigaline and Minane Bridge). Other friends have worked with Dennehy’s and had recommended them to us. On both occasions Niamh and Roy had our house sold within two weeks. They are absolutely top of their game, and are unbelievable value for the service they provide. Niamh and Roy are highly consultative and well informed, extremely well networked, totally professional in every aspect of their work. Beyond that, they could not be more helpful, responsive (will always take a call) kind, considerate and warm from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble. They made the process stress free for us on both occasions and most recently in a four house chain, which by any standards isn’t easy. If you’re looking for a trustworthy partner to sell, buy or rent your property then don’t go past Dennehy’s Auctioneers. They make you feel like you’re their only client and we honestly cannot recommend them enough.

Negative experience: Not good, in fact appalling never got a call back and it was like extracting blood from a turnip trying to require basic information, I was really disappointed with the lack of leadership it was a simple case of pass the batton nobody wanted to take control it was always she's dealing with this, he's dealing with that oh how fantastic a call back would be greatly appreciated ah well ye lost, stay well clear unfortunately that's my experience I wouldn't like to see anybody out of work maybe others can say different

Negative experience: Dealt with Dennehys recently whilst trying to find a new home to rent. I attended a viewing and left the relevant documentation and information. I followed up for a number of days as to the decision from the landlord. I kept getting told no decision we will be in touch. After trying for 1 week + without so much as an email without having to chase or call we decided on a different property. The issue was not on securing the premises but as to how they dealt with potential clients. People like to know yes or no not to be fobbed off and ignored. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: There are no words when I describe Roy Niamh and Natalie .from start of selling and buying it was exceptional .nothing was too much trouble for them as it was a huge decision to sell.Niamh was exceptional as were the people we bought from . Dennehy’s also allowed us to use their shedfor storage as completed before we bought . Thank you all so so much amazing highly recommend
