Negative experience: I had an unpleasant experience renting through DNG Rentals. Despite paying for what was marketed as a luxury, modern apartment in a new building, the service fell far short of expectations. • Customer service was consistently poor, particularly in dealings with Irene. • Repairs were poorly timed, and access to our apartment was repeatedly required for works relating to other units. • Inspections were excessive — at least eight during the tenancy, which felt intrusive. • The apartment came with an old, unsafe mattress with springs that were almost exposed, which was never replaced. Instead, we were asked to pay removal costs when we bought a new one. • Upon moving out, the deposit was not fully returned. Charges for “spot painting” were added over many walls, despite being being mentioned on one wall only in the initial move-out email. When asked to rationalise depsoit I was met by the usual self-serving behaviour. disappointing service and behaviour from such company.

Negative experience: I’m sure they’re great for buying from but for renting, they are the WORST I have ever dealt with. They “inspect” every 6 months but they never actually do them, they sign off on repairs being done when you’ve never even been contacted over it, all while increasing the rent while you’re left to live in terrible conditions. Including leaving repairs you’ve reported unchecked for multiple weeks. For example, I went 5 weeks without being contacted when I reported not having ANY hot water. They are impossible to contact, never respond to emails and it’s never clear who you should be speaking to in regards to your questions or issues. I honestly cannot believe how highly they are rated, but I would assume they spend so much time catering to their wealthier clients that they end up forgetting about meeting basic expectations from their cheaper clients.
