Fantastic experience: I rented an apartment through Ocean Properties for 4 years and had an excellent experience throughout. The property was well maintained, and I never had any issues during my tenancy. Any time I needed assistance, I dealt with Conor Egan, who was always helpful, responsive, and professional. He addressed everything quickly and efficiently. Overall, I have no complaints and would highly recommend Ocean Properties.

Negative experience: Horrible to deal with

Negative experience: Opening hour is shown to be 8.30 and yet they're not opening the door till 9.30. Later we weren't even let it, got told that they don't provide a service we were interested in. Very unprofessional, bad experience.

Fantastic experience: It was a positive experience to rent from them. On the rare occasion there was an issue, Conor Egan responded promptly to make sure we were taken care of. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: My family and I just moved out of a property manged by Ocean properties, only because I had to move because of my job or else we did not really want to leave our lovely home. I couldn't help but give a shout out to the management team esp Conor Egan. The selection criteria for the tenants was quite fair. Any issues we had and when flagged with Conor, he did his best to sort them out at the earliest via the maintenance team and was alaways approachable. There was some delay from the maintenance team sometimes though. Other than that, the place was well maintained and everything was in good condition. Very competitive rent too when compared to the market. Once on a Sunday, we got locked out of our apartment accidently and Conor was quite swift to get somebody to us with a spare key in no time. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would strongly recommend if you like your piece of mind as far as the property your renting is concerned. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: Conor Egan was my landlord for the last year, renting out a lovely apartment in Booterstown for myself and my partner. Conor was incredibly helpful and informative throughout the entire initial process, from firstly organising our viewing, sending us our contracts, issuing our keys and facilitating our move in all within a week of eachother. Upon moving into the apartment, Conor’s willingness to provide assistance and his desire to make our transition to our new home as easy as possible was impeccable. With any issues or queries we had throughout the year, Conor was always very responsive and provided a solution immediately. This even extended to a time when we were away on holidays, and received a text from a neighbour saying our alarm was going off. Despite messaging Conor outside his working hours (and on a weekend) he was able to get this problem sorted instantly. I could not recommend Conor’s services any more highly, and anyone lucky enough to have Conor as a landlord in the future can be fully satisfied in the knowledge that they are in safe hands.

Negative experience: A well deserved 1-star review, for the disrespectful behaviour of the agency. After sending several enquiries and contacting them on the phone about an apartment they were renting out in Athlone, they never replied. Of course, the listing was taken down a week later. If you're looking for accommodation and reading this review, my advice is go to look somewhere else. It's not worth the hassle and wasted time to try dealing with them. I can't imagine a business treating its potential customers like this and still being in business.

Fantastic experience: I dealt with OPM as a tenant of theirs in a Galway apartment in Doughishka. Specifically I was dealing with Mr. Conor Egan. Given the current state of the housing and rental markets in Ireland at the moment, dealing with Conor was a breath of fresh air and in my opinion, a benchmark in how letting agents should do their jobs. From the initial viewings, to signing the lease, to moving in and having some minor aspects of the property fixed and improved, he was always responsive, friendly, prompt, helpful and professional. Negative experience: The Sales branch of this company is a complete joke. I arrived for a viewing of the apartment just to wait for 20 minutes, write two emails, trying to call them and the agent never arrived and never contacted me. I understand that in such crazy market they won't have any issues selling apartments, but this is disrespectful and unprofessional. Now I understand why most of the apartments in the complex are being sold by brokers, and not by your Sales team. Disgrace of a sales team.

Fantastic experience: My son loved playing in this park! Lots of things for him to play on. I struggled to get him to leave even when the rain started to pour down.

Negative experience: Unethical company that uses harassment to bully Limerick tenants into leaving their homes when their attempts to evict them illegally en-masse are too slow.

Fantastic experience: We were tenants of Ocean Property Managment for almost three years and in that time we had nothing but execellent interactions with them. Our point of contact, Conor Egan, was particularly helpful, always being no more than a phone call or email away. The few times we had issues, such as the oven ceasing to work, the problem was quickly rectified. You hear horror stories all the time about people renting in Ireland but we experienced none of this whilst being tenants of OPM. We moved purely for work reasons and were sorry to do so.

Negative experience: They are very rude and unprofessional. Take so much time to get anything fixed or respond to emails sent to them. We have a leakage in our bathroom for months now. 7weeks ago they opened the bathroom ceiling and not yet fixed. Smell coming from the ceiling is awful and they are yet to do anything about it rather they are being cocky and unapologetic and rude!!

Negative experience: Unprofessional, rude and undiplomatic. I have never been spoken to in such a belittling manner in my life. After being falsely accused of throwing house parties during lockdown (we had documented proof and the support of Threshold) I was told rather curtly on the phone that if I indulged in anti-social behaviour again I would be evicted, and anything I had to say wasn't of importance and promptly hung up on. The property had never been inspected during my residency. A year on, with no more false accusations, our rent always paid in advance and on time, a request of a reference was never sent nor responded to. I understand landlords do not like the involvement of Threshold, but equally tenants do not like to be falsely accused nor given the opportunity to respond. However, Conor Egan, whom we originally dealt with was professional, kind and understanding. This review is strictly for the owners as the reception staff were also exceptional and professional.

I've never had any problems with this agency and if there was ever a problem with the house Connor looked after it immediately. He was all very professional yet friendly and quite understanding if and when there were any problems. I would gladly recommend Ocean property management to any person thinking of renting or letting a property. I know if I ever return to Galway in the future this is the first place I will be contacting.

Positive experience: I have rented from Ocean Property for over a year now, and have nothing bad to say! Conor looks after us and he is always quick to fix any issues, and is always there to answer the phone when needed. A professional company with good staff, I would be glad to rent from them again going forward.

Fantastic experience: I have been renting from Ocean property for more than 3 years now in Gleann rua. I Started renting as a student of GMIT with myself and 3 other students. All my dealings with the property was carried out though Conor Egan. As i got through and finished college I was given the option of staying on to continue my lease. I never had any probelms with the agency and any problems that me or my other housemates ever had with the house, was looked after imdeiately by Conor. Conor was always there to answer the phone in any house emergency's or for any house maintanece that was needed, wether it was a sink blocked or a housemate locked in the bathroom, he was always able to help and I hope im as lucky in my next house to get someone as profesional and understadning as he has been in the last few years. I would gladly recommend Ocean property management to any person thinking of renting and letting a property. I know if I ever return to galway in the future this is the first place I will be contacting.

Fantastic experience: For the past four years myself and my Fiance (he longer) have rented in Glean Na Ri in two different apartments, while we were under management by Ocean Property we never had any problems and if a matter did arise it was dealt with in a prompt, efficient and timely manner. Over the years that we stayed in Glean Na Ri, Ocean Property have made many changes to the area to keep it in a nice, the addition of picnic tables was a nice touch. The staff are always helpful in the office as are the maintenance staff if and when you need them. Thanks for everything Ocean Property.

Fantastic experience: Ok

Negative experience: This company sees fit to condone a concert for students right behind one of the properties it manages, and send a letter stating that the concert has the company's and the garda siochana's permission, and that essentially we, the residents, can't say or do anything in response. Not once were we, the residents, given an option or asked for our opinion, or approached in any way bar this aforementioned letter. The concert has been going on from one P.M. and will continue until ten P.M. Avoid this company if you want peace and quiet and wish to have your rights remain intact. Despite being the other side of a field and a railway track from said concert, noise levels from inside an apartment with all closed doors and windows is over 60 dB. Even on a regular day, there are barking dogs in this premises, and there is broken glass and dog fouling on the footpaths regularly. There is not enough bins to accommodate the amount of rubbish created by all the residents as the bins are often incapable of closing. On numerous occasions myself and my flatmates have found ourselves locked out of our apartment due to our key cards malfunctioning.
