If you’re thinking of renting a property, know that when in your tenancy your property will be maintained should you have any issues. I’ve have been dealing with Anthony Byrne properties for 2 years, and nothing is ever a problem and any issues within my property they have repaired and replaced without hesitation and instantly. Cathal and Duane have been professional, efficient and have gone above and beyond. The service and maintenance team they have are also excellent in what they do. Negative experience: worst agency ever, I called them two days ago to ask about property to rent is it still available and they said yes it is give me your details one of the agents gonna reach you out so I give one day and then call again and they are saying its still available give your details so I did again so I were hoping to get that.I have decided to go and see a property myself and ask neighbours about property and what do you think the property is already rented for someone and they even painted some walls. Dont trust if they say property is available. I will avoid this inappropriate agency

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, house come without clearance ( lots of outstanding bills - all problems are pushed on new owner ), keys left beside meter, they don’t make you feel like you buying your new home, I never met with such a incompetence. Fantastic experience: Anthony Byrne Property Services looked after the sale of two properties for me. I found them to be very hands on, accessible, responsive and professional. I am in business myself and of course had to consider if I might be better placing the properties with one of the bigger groups. I am so glad I didn't! Negative experience: Very unhelpful, no care for their customers. I had so many issues with an apartment I rented from them and I rang several times and nothing was done. They even came over for a "maintenance inspection" twice and she took pictures and told me she would get onto it but still nothing was done. My windows wouldn't close properly and one was litterally hanging off the frame, the boiler wasnt working so I had no hot water, there was storage heaters that barely worked and twice I was promised new ones and never got it so the apartment was constantly freezing! There was chipped paint in nearly every room, the bath was leaking out the sides, the walls got mouldy, the couch was scratched and you could feel the springs in it when you sat on it, the cooker was very old and i was also promised a newer, more modern one and never got one. The door to the apartment building was busted in and homeless people would gather around drinking, sleeping and taking drugs and after all the tennants asking for a new lock we just had to sort it out ourselves. I could go on and on but the bottom line of it all is use this place as a very last resort for renting. ***EDIT **** When I put this review up I was told to take it down because they claim they have no responsibility for any of my complaints and have gone further on to claim that they never recieved them. I was evicted because I let 2 people stay in my spare room as opposed to being homeless, this was not however a sublet as they didn't pay any rent. When i took ill and spent some time in my mothers house the 2 made a huge mess and drug paraphernalia was found, this was a much a shock to me as it was to them as we entered and discovered it together. As regards to the window being broke, they say that I broke it because we put rubbish on the balcony, however all the other tenants with balconies would put their bin bags out there as a way of keeping the smell out until bin day, we discovered the window was broken the first time we attempted to open it. They say none of this was their responsibility and that some of its not even true, for them to say this is absolute nonsense and lies. My review is not because of the eviction as i do understand it and I'm not upset with the company but to the two people to whom I gave shelter. This review is a genuine statement of my time living in the apartment.
