Positive experience: Slow to update properties that are sold subject to contract

Negative experience: My family went to Remax in order to start the process of selling my deceased aunt's house. The company recommended a person to prepare the house for photos. Instead of preparing the place for photos, the house was stripped of valuables - irreplaceable photos, Waterford Crystal, silverware, pictures on the walls, the list goes on. The fiasco has been extremely emotionally difficult. Needless to we won't be working with Remax for the transaction. EDIT: For complete clarity, the person was recommended by Remax, and not a Remax employee. But the fact remains that the business we placed our trust in recommended someone who stripped the belongings from our house. I would expect an estate agent - or any business - to know something of someone who they recommend professionally.

Fantastic experience: I am from Galway and I wanted to move back to to Athlone, I come across an ad daft.ie for lovely apartment in the centre of Athlone. That same evening Mr.Cathal Meares contacted me to arrange a viewing of this property, and three days later I meet with the property owner, to arrange a rental agreement. I can honestly and personally say that Cathal is the best real estate agent in Athlone. I would highly recommend him if you are in the market for some property whether it would be rental or sale he is your number one man
