What we particularly appreciated was that he genuinely seemed to want to help both us and the vendor and make the process as smooth as possible for everyone. Fantastic experience: I recently completed the sale of my house led by Sean McGee in Sherry Fitz. From the initial meeting, where very helpful guidance and tips was provided, to organising the viewings around times that suited me, I always felt like i was getting the very best possible service. After each open viewing, Sean was very quick to summarise the interest and give his opinion on whether offers would follow. After going sale agreed, he checked in regularly with me to update on progress with the sale and how to ensure the sale would proceed smoothly. The 'My Sherry Fitz' tool for interested buyers to make bids online 24/7 and for sellers to receive these offers immediately cuts out all the back and forth that happens with other estate agents and ensures a much quicker and transparent process for all sides of the sale. I highly recommend Sherry Fitz and would be the only choice for me if I was looking for an estate agent in the future.

Fantastic experience: We bought a house listed with sherryfitz. We found them professional, courteous, and helpful. They were straightforward the whole way through the process. There were a little shenanigans with the sellor but sherryfitz addressed it with the sellors straight away. We couldn't have asked for more.

Negative experience: We had an offer accepted on a property and immediately paid the booking deposit of 10k and arranged a survey. All the wheels were in motion with solicitor and money was in place. A week later the agent rang to say that they received a higher offer which the vendors had accepted. Not only that but the agent cancelled the surveyor without notifying us and then gave us a spiel that was not what the surveyor told me. The surveyor told my wife that the agent cancelled saying that someone was sick in the house, but the agent told me that he cancelled it because they didn't want to "upset" us. Disingenuous , unprofessional, untrustworthy, money grabbing cowboys. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I recently sold my private residence with Sherry Fitzgerald Limerick and found their approach to the entire process to be very professional. All the staff we dealt with were very knowledgeable and I would in particular pay tribute to Ailbhe O'Malley for her handling of a very successful transaction. I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Found out through back channels that I was outbid twice and was not notified by the agent on both occasions. When I complained the agent was unapologetic and refused to acknowledge my complaint.

Negative experience: Ensure the agent selling your house is not going on vacation. It seems like no other agents can show other agents houses when they are out of the office. We tried to get a showing last week. We were delayed until this Wed. However our appointment was cancelled on Tuesday. Looks like the seller lost at least an extra 10,000 Euro because nobody could show us the house last week. Also we were cash buyers.
