KMPM Property Management Limerick

Negative experience: The new owner is not professional. The way he lied to my mother who has been a client of Kerstens for years has absolutely maddened us. One of his female colleagues sorted the issue renting the property and alluded to the fact it's a common occurrence with him. The rest of the staff are a pleasure - especially Ciara, Amy & Tommy - the whole team. Property owners make the business and should not be lied to.

Negative experience: Do not recommend either to landlords or tenants. Had an awful experience with them. EDIT: Will not give back deposit citing damage to a kitchen press that was there when we moved in 3 years ago. We have email and pictures dated and will be taking this at Extreme cost to the courts. Already lost our next lease because of them and are still living out of our car (untaxed) and between parents houses. Beyond discusting. Suzanne is leaving 5 star reviews for the same company she works for. Declan, I hope you read this you bully. More akin to a balif than an estate agent. We live in a very difficult time in the Irish rental community and unfortunately people like this exploit they're fellow people for monetary gain.

Negative experience: We had significant issues with this property management company. They consistently overcharged for services that were never rendered. Communication was poor and we felt misled about costs and work completed. We have documentation of charges for work that was never done. Would not recommend

Fantastic experience: I was moving back to Ireland from the U.S. and KMPM worked really well with me in securing a property and making payments from the U.S. before I got my bank account setup in Ireland. Great communication, excellent experience, professional and I highly recommend them. They value the tenant as much as the landlord.

Negative experience: Do not deal with this company. You will never get your deposit back even though property was returned in better condition than received. Ignored maintenance issues for years and we ended up paying ourselves for the basic upkeep of the property. Had no choice at the time as as we all know properties are harder and more expensive now and kmpm use this to their advantage. I would use alot stronger language but I know that would give them a reason to flag the review with goohle. Buy a caravan and you'll live a healthier and happier life than dealing with them

Fantastic experience: We've rented 3 times with KMPM, through Amy mostly. She's super kind, informative and always helped us out. The properties we've rented through KMPM have always been great! With other property management company's in Limerick, we found they were quite rude and sent out loads of paperwork before a viewing. KMPM has been straight forward and we've never had any problems throughout the years.

Negative experience: Held back my deposit after I gave them over a month notice to leave, while out of contact, also reason for handling notice was because maintenance was not being carried out, and for what was done, was done poorly, Though this can be part blame to landlord, KMPM choose to deal with this rough landlord, I question how many more do they deal with, Also, KMPM held deposit.

Fantastic experience: Very good agency. Probably one of the best in limerick. Rented through Amy. She is quite rude and not experienced. Thankfully the rest of the team made up for the shortcomings. All the girls are lovely to deal with. Highly recommend. Had issue with boiler and was sorted very very promptly.

Negative experience: Had the misfortune of hiring KMPM’s services to manage a rental property. Without going into too much detail my one star review speaks volumes of what my thoughts are after 7 years of ‘service’.

Negative experience: Awful experience with this company. I get the feeling they are okay to work with if you are a property owner looking to rent your property out with them but when it comes to tenants who are desperate for somewhere to live, forget about it. I won't go into details on the state of the property we were given (it would take too long) but take my word for it that you do not want to deal with this company as a tenant, it will only cause you an abundance of stress. I also advise any tenant renting a property belonging to them, to take photos of everything in the house the day you move in. They will try to keep your deposit or bring you to court over things in the house that were not your fault unless you have the evidence to back up your case. They already know these things are not your fault (they are the company's fault usually) but they will take you for a ride if you let them.

From viewing my apartment with Darren who deals with the real estate side of things to having an queries or questions managed super efficiently by Ciara & Patricia at the front of house in the office . A super friendly and welcoming agency to be apart of, would recommend signing on the dotted line with this crew if opportunity arrives.

Negative experience: stayed at a property managed by them I took duplex apartment in Dooradoyle , the bath tub was literally cracked and I asked them to review it , they promised to do so but never happened since Jan 2020 !! the Heating unit ( basic requirement for life ) is broke and I informed them in email that I have no heating , they send one to inspect the unit and he confirmed the unit won't work and need to be replaced . that is it !! for 15 days I and my family are freezing in Dennis and Ciara storm and and when I called them they said the landlord is informed !! I wonder what will be their role if I didn't pay rent ? will they tell landlord "the tenant is informed to pay "? the bed is broken and articulated manually so you won't notice it in inspection but when you use it you will see it , again told them and nothing happened looking for another apartment to relocate hopefully find something managed in a better way

Negative experience: Very ignorant people especially the blonde woman behind the desk at the entrance...would advise people to stay away from these people and find someone else to rent out your properties..

Negative experience: Becarefull with this real state agency. They don't care about their tenants at all. Actually if the tenant is paying under the average rental price, they'll try to encourage you to leave. Don't ask for repairs or for issues (moths, terrible beds, holes in walls and roofs). They'll treat you like cattle. Unprofessional and insensitive.

Negative experience: Company just dont care about their tenants... I advised the company that I need new mattress as my old one is not suitable for use anymore. there is holes and metals that comming out and its actually health and safety issue. send out all of the pictures with request but they just ignoring it. its been more then 4 weeks now and Im still waitting for it. When I went to the office I was told that they are prioritising studens at this time of the year. Its actually disgrace as they are very fast to take your rent but they cant even provide living standard.

Negative experience: I dont recommend this agency at all. Before signing any contract, they treat you well and answer all your questions. Once you are tied, if you have any issue with the property you are renting and call them to fix it, they would just give you the run around. My experience was a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Kerstan earlier this year when I purchased an apartment at The Strand as an investment. Kertstan has the extra mile for me with sound advice, vendor recommendations, tenant sourcing and property management. I am looking forward to continuing to work with him and his company for many years. KMPM has wonderful and very responsive staff who are a pleasure to deal with.

Negative experience: This was the worst property management company I have ever dealt with and as most of them are horrible that's saying something. I rang to book a viewing for an apartment and the agent on the phone was quite rude. I booked a viewing anyway but when I got out there, the apartment had all ready been taken. I was not given any phone call that day to informing me of what a waste of time it was to get out to the place. This is extremely unprofessional. The agent just didn't seem to care. I you hate your job so much or have no interest in sales maybe you should find another job. If I could I would give this place no stars but google makes you give them one. I just don't get how a business of any kind thinks this is how to treat potential customers. Its insane. Have a little pride in what you do or find a job somewhere else. Saying you forgot a phone number when I'm ringing your mobile which stores numbers is no excuse.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional money grabbing bunch of people I ever rented off with. The owner Kersten Mehl I met him personally to disclose the extensive problems with damp and mould in the apartment they moved me and my partner into, after showing him shocking photos of the mess of the walls and windows he told me to basically leave the apartment if I had a problem with it. I have no idea how this man's business succeeds or how he has the decency to walk around moving people into apartments with this ridiculous health hazard. I will never rent off them again and I urge everyone not to.
