It was far from a straight forward path to the final sale, especially hampered by my residing overseas. Fantastic experience: Smart Move was recommended to me by the council when I ended up couch surfing without a permanent address. I sent them an email, not expecting much, but I was absolutely positively surprised. They were quick to respond, and in few days I saw my little house which finally got me an address and a place to call home. After having multiple encounters with different estate agents in Waterford not having a great experience Andrea toner at smart move properties was absolutely brilliant easy to deal with and only a phone call away for any question or query at any time of the day and we had plenty. She made whole process so easy and communicated very clearly what was needed for us to do. She dealt with us very professional and closed the sale for us in a timely manor. If I ever have to go to buy or sell or anything that’s needed I will only be dealing with this estate agents. Fantastic experience: I have been staying in the home provided by Smart Move Properties for nearly two years. They are really awesome. They are very approachable and really connected with people like them is God's grace. All the tenancy documentation was properly legalized and systematic without any hazzle. Really the property which they have does not require much maintainence, even if required maintainence, was perfectly on time. Getting connected with them makes us feel like family around us to take of ourself and our families.All staff members are very friendly. Every home is properly furnished to cater the needs of people living. So I did not brought anything on my own. I consider it as one of the very pleseant experiences

Positive experience: Can’t recommend the crew in here highly enough ! Was stuck for accommodation starting a new job in Waterford and they got me a place , hassle free. I got a nice place within my budget !

Negative experience: We had enquired about a property for sale and done a viewing, and expressed that we are very interested. At the viewing, we were told there were no bids as of yet and that we should send an email to receive the BER cert, which we did. The next morning, just about an hour after receiving the email with the BER cert, we were informed in a “Courtesy Email” that the property is now sale agreed, without even giving us the opportunity to react or make an offer. The agent was very unapologetic and believed that one hour is plenty of time to reply to an email (which you didn’t even know when to expect) and that potentially calling a customer to give them an opportunity to submit an offer wouldn’t be necessary at all. She is of the opinion that she did her ‘best’, and she is entitled to that view. Unfortunately, I personally think that this ‘best’ is far below the standard you’d expect from an estate agency. Don’t bother booking a viewing if you aren’t looking to be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with Andrea for c. 10 years. She acted as letting agent for my property and most recently acted as sales agent in selling the property. There is no one better to manage/ sell in Waterford. She is a fountain of knowledge, offers great advice and to top it off has a great personality.
