Negative experience: Not very communicative to the buyer and can give you miss information trying to get you to increase your offer. eg. the asking price has already been offered even though it may not have been. But auctioneers are always on the sellers side to maximize sale price and thus their commission.

Positive experience: We used Nugent Auctioneers for the sale of our property. They guided us through what needed to be done which was very helpful. They also took care of all the enquiries and viewings which made the process less stressful for us.

Negative experience: We paid deposit for a house and with 2 days before we had to move in they call to tell us that the house is rented to someone else. We had to live the house and the he find another that we accepted. The problem is that every time we had something to complain he was telling us he did a favour to us by renting this property. At the end of 2 years with plenty of notice when came to get deposit back he just say to us that this is not his problem anymore and I have to deal with landlord. The landlord after opening a prtb case they decided to give some of the deposit back. That was after 2 months. Just don’t deal with him. He will take money and offer very little in return.
