Negative experience: I tried to purchase a property in Naas from Richard in DNG, in fact I asked him what he wanted to take it off the market, he named a figure that he said he would need in order to speak with his client about the offer. Richard loves to use his clients as an excuse and lack of professionalism, he was to get back to me the next day, which of course didn’t happen, three days later he said his client wanted to test the market so I said fine and reduced my offer and said I would also test the market with them. That’s when he turned nasty and his true colours came out, “so you want to play the game that way” I told him it wasn’t a game when spending the guts of 1/2 million. He never spoke to me after that; my offer was registered and I asked to be kept informed of progress, but that didn’t happen.The House went sale agreed. I reported him to DNG head quarter where Tony said Richard was one of his best, circle the wagons and blame the client. Tony was another ignorant man with absolutely no regard for a customer. I could go on and on about Richard , but to summarise I wouldn’t get him to sell a dog kennel for me, or I wouldn’t buy one from him. He lacks professionalism beyond believe, He is an associate of the RICS under the umbrella of been able to value a property not to be mixed up with a professional qualification which I believe he may not even have, perhaps he can tell us what level 8,9 or 10 qualifications you have!!! Owner of the business is not a qualification, Denis O Brien did own the Beacon Hospital but you won’t see him operating on any of the patients, This man and his business is to be avoided at all costs, because a business that hides behind the client as an excuse to manipulate the customers is neither good for the client or the customer. Please don’t use your sorry excuse of a reply to me to drop into your office to discuss my grievances because I won’t be doing that but you can call to my house or explain on this platform how you can justify your total lack of professionalism towards me. I also reported this issue to all bodies associated with the auctioneering sector in Ireland. There are too many good auctioneering businesses in this country to be using substandard cowboys like these. Richard has reported this review twice now because he doesn’t like it, he finds something to complain about so it’s taken down, no doubt he try again and I’ll re-edit it again and post it back up. It’s important that people know who they are dealing with.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Richard more for selling a house. He was fantastic from start to finish. Always communicating and letting you know what was happening. Selling a house can be a stressful but this was taken away by Richard and his team. If there was 10 stars they would be getting that. I would highly recommend

Negative experience: Only giving a 1 star as I can't give zero stars ! My review would be very similar to a review left 8 months ago by David I have had the same experience. Richard doesn't respond to calls or emails , we viewed a property he was on the phone wasn't one bit welcoming. I also had nothing but excuses from Richard as to why 3 people bid after me and he never updated me as I was his last highest bidder ,I even called the office 3 times sent an email nothing back. I agree with every word David said in his post I have had the same experience. Also giving a bid getting a thumbs up back as a reply then not getitng back to me AGAIN after this about more bids that was after me very unprofessional I find it hard to believe the 5 star reviews under here ! Dont get your hopes up if viewing a house with these !!!!

Negative experience: Be very careful with this company. Extremely unprofessional people - Richard, in particular, has some serious issues. Cursing at clients, hounding them throughout the sales process. You'll send him emails regarding professional evaluations (structural engineer, technical assessor) that the guy will plain ignore until you ring him. Lately I called to say a technical assessor found 'serious' issues with the BER assessment that would have to be reported to the SEAI if the original assessor couldn't correct his mistakes. If you want a grant for your home, you must have this in check. I had to ring and the guy actually said 'yeah, my colleague sent me the email last night, let me read it'. He only read it there and then because I called. This happened with the structural report as well - he didn't read it, he just snarled at me about the points I made from the report, then became sheepish when I said - 'read the report' and the penny dropped that all wasn't well with the place. For the BER issue, he sent me on some random docs that didn't answer my simple question - who was the BER assessor for the property? I had to ring again and the guy just contemptuously blurts out a phone number in one go. Can I double check that? He said he already closed out of the window that showed it. He doesn't give a damn about his clients. It's almost astonishing. They are a disgrace. I don't know what kind of chip you have to have on your shoulder to treat customers the way these people do. They really seem to hate them, no matter how civil you are to them. The property I bought, btw, is an overpriced disaster. It will cost me a small fortune to fix the issues with it. If you are buying off DNG Naas, be aware you're dealing with snakes. Get every engineer you can afford involved before you buy - get everything checked. Subfloors. BER rating. Structure. Plumbing. Electrics. They're so bankrupt of any kind of any respect for the customer that they'll fleece you like a sheep and laugh it off if you happen to pay up. Biggest regret of my life to date.

Negative experience: My partner and I bought a property through DNG Naas last February. We paid asking price with the agreement of a leak in the kicthen being repaired prior to signing contracts. This work was not carried out properly and It is now obvious that a temporary solution was done in order to pull the wool over our eyes. We now have a massive leak in our kicthen which is going to cost us over 1500 euro to fix. A job that we shouldn't have to pay for but now have no choice. Our attic was also supposed to be cleared of old belongings left by the previous tenants. This also wasn't done and we had to pay for a skip to remove it. Our joy of buying our first home has been ruined due to the lack of professionalism and morals shown by Richard and his team!
