Negative experience: Shocking experience: complete manipulation over trying to purchase a property in Celbridge; secret bidding information was 100% passed over to the other bidder. Series concerns over Ethical and Suspicion of Misconduct.

Fantastic experience: A very positive experience selling my home. The team were professional, reliable, and easy to deal with throughout. Communication was clear and timely, and everything was handled in an organised way. All team members I dealt with were excellent. I would be happy to recommend them.

Negative experience: I was a client of Sherry FitzGerald Celbridge and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with this agency. Upon the recommendation of our SF agent, we priced our property 10% below our initial expectations, which was not a good decision as we could have achieved a higher sale price. Throughout the process, we worked primarily with Karen and Eoghan. However, we observed that the agents seemed more focused on accommodating the winning bidder's interests rather than advocating for us as their clients. Despite raising these concerns and expressing our dissatisfaction directly with them, we saw no meaningful improvement in the service provided. We felt considerable pressure to accept the offer. The transaction was more complex and lengthy than typical due to our relocation outside of Ireland, which made the lack of adequate support particularly frustrating. The attentive, client-focused service that other reviewers have praised was simply not our experience.

Fantastic experience: Sherry FitzGerald was a pleasure to deal with. After a previous sale fell through Karen was able to show us an ideal property for our situation, she was transparent about everything throughout & helped in process. Eoghan came on board our team after we went sale agreed & was brilliant through the closing process. We had issues with vendor solicitor which he was able to assist us navigate & was always available on the phone. Highly recommend the team if you are looking to buy or sell.

I was sale agreed on an apartment which Karen was selling on behalf of her client and she was very involved in getting the sale closed, she was contacting her client’s solicitor a lot for updates, as well as helping her client to find a short term rental. Unfortunately, there were a lot of further delays from third parties and Karen recommended that I look around at other properties to buy - I found this very kind of her as she wasn’t just looking after the vendor’s interests but mine too.
