Negative experience: I feel compelled to write a review after viewing a rental with this agency today. The property was advertised on Daft as a clean, modern one-bed apartment. What I arrived to was completely unrecognisable from the listing. The condition of the apartment was shocking. Every wall showed visible mould, and the overall state of the property was closer to an abandoned site than a habitable home. “Filthy” or “disgusting” does not adequately capture how unfit this place was for viewing, let alone renting. I took time off work to attend this viewing and feel completely misled. The listing was a clear misrepresentation of the property. This was not a minor discrepancy — it was a fundamental failure to present the property honestly. This experience was a waste of time and deeply unprofessional. Prospective tenants deserve transparency, not bait-and-switch tactics.

Negative experience: We have been waiting for 21 days to receive the deposit back. The company accepted the notice for a date and then, when there were 3 days left until the date, they said we should wait another 8 days for the notice and that we would discount the difference from the deposit. We informed them that, according to the RTB, the agreed deadline could not change 3 days before the deadline. Brock Delappe simply responded from then on that they are waiting for the landlord and it has been 21 days since we left the property and we have not received anything from the deposit.

Negative experience: They arranged a viewing and the property agent (K) came very late. Tenants were already decided as when we were there, a couple possibly their new tenant, couldn't hide their emotions. Fair play to them . But you should not waste other's time when you have your decision in place.

Negative experience: Takes weeks to respond to maintenance issues tenants report, we’ve had issues reported that has been open for 6 weeks, have followed up and have received no response. They are not concerned with tenants and maintenance of rented accommodation. Extremely poor standard.

Negative experience: Very rude staff as always left property and they never gave back my deposit they claimed they sent it to hap as. They prefer it so but yet never told me howuch they sent. Accountants are very rude on the phone shouting and cursing.

Negative experience: Me and two other friends went to the place in person and we weren't well received, we would like information about a house and they didn't allow us to introduce ourselves and they didn't even let us in. in our face, I believe that because we are not Irish but we have a European passport and financial conditions for rent anyway, I thought that at least she could have introduced herself and been more cordial, bad experience.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed the sale of my property in Inchicore with Brock DeLappe, and have been consistently impressed with their sales team. This was a very difficult sale, which fell through more than once, but throughout Sean remained calm and professional, and put in significant effort to keep the communication moving. Jenna helped get the closing over the line, by working proactively with the purchaser. While resolving problems, I rented the property out, and Karl from the lettings team did a very good job on vetting tenants, and providing general advice. The photography and ads by Brock DeLappe are of a very high standard, unlike some other agents. Sean gave sensible advice as to presenting the property and re asking price. There is a good sense of teamwork in this office, meaning viewings could be easily facilitated, and queries addressed promptly. I definitely recommend engaging them for any property sale.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience selling a house in D7 with Kevin Delappe as my negotiator. From the outset it was clear Kevin was experienced, and knew the area well. He had a really good handle on potential purchasers. Throughout the whole sales process, Kevin was professional, always responsive and kept me updated. Fantastic experience: Brock Delappe, were great from the time I first contacted them. There were a few minor items to be sorted in the house to get it ready for rental. They took care of all of that and found two great tenants in a very short space of time. The whole team were great and I would highly recommend Brock Delappe.

Negative experience: EDIT: Just to make it clear as they have replied below. I was told I had taken a bed from the property and replaced it and my deposit was being held as this warranted a new bed being purchased. I didn’t do this and proved it quite easily with photo and video proof. Then suddenly the deposit needed to be held for a whole new reason, the replacement of a mattress (on a different bed) due to mould which I had complained about throughout my stay. When this was challenged for weeks the company simply stopped answering calls and said take it to the RTB. Really interesting that a first reason to hold my deposit and then a second one that appeared both appeared with an invoice showing my exact to the euro remaining deposit amount. Simply anything to keep deposits and no consideration for people. Also I asked multiple times for the basic information to be able to lodge an RTB complaint and was met with nothing. Also the day I moved into this property I collected keys from their office and asked for parking information at the property. I wasn’t told about an access code and was locked out on arrival, I was then clamped on my first night as I was told I did not need to display anything which turned out to be wrong too. It’s it’s start to finish with these guys people can see this from the numerous 1 star reviews. Rented from them - save yourself the time and avoid if possible. They were happy to help a landlord keep a deposit unfairly and had to be hounded for communication until eventually just ignoring my calls and emails. Wouldn’t even provide landlords name for an RTB complaint. The response below is disingenuous as I do not have the information needed if you follow that link. Difficult to deal with from top to bottom. 0/5 if possible. Would love to provide further details just ask.

Negative experience: I got the invitation for the apartment viewing with the exact address. I stood there 20 minutes, was ringing and trying to contact the agent, but no one appeared or answered. Pure waste of time and lack of professionalism, definetely not recommend.

Negative experience: i had an extremely bad experience with sales negotiator mr. sam who works in brock delappe . i have gone for viewing an apartment. We really liked the apartment and send all our documents. i have send many emails to know the final decision if yes or no it should be communicated.Time is precious for each one of us , we have tried to call him many times no response no replies on emails . It was really heartbroken when atlast we contacted his office directly and spoke to him he said unfortunately we cannot give you the place. if he could have done that early he could have saved our time . people who works in such a reputed firm should know how to respond if a person is rich or poor we need to learn to respect everyones time .
